Meet the Team at Agape Behavioral Health
Intro
Healing happens through connection, and that connection begins with the clinical team behind you.
The staff at Agape Behavioral Health is made up of licensed clinicians, therapists, psychiatric professionals, and support staff who all share an unwavering commitment to each person in their care. This special group of people did not choose their professions on a whim. They chose this work because of their own personal conviction that everyone has the ability to heal, grow, and create a life worth living.
What sets our staff apart is not just their formal education and training, although they have extensive clinical experience with many mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment interventions. It is how they show up each day.
With compassion. With empathy. With an attentiveness that leaves patients feeling seen and understood instead of just assessed.
At Agape Behavioral Health, clinical excellence and human connection are not mutually exclusive; rather, they are complementary aspects of what we expect from our staff. Our multidisciplinary team works cooperatively at every level of care so that each patient receives coordinated, continuous care from initial admission through discharge. Each member of the team shares one common philosophy that led us to create Agape Behavioral Health: that delivering mental health care with love leads to better outcomes that cannot be possible with clinical care alone.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Team
What qualifications do the staff at Agape Behavioral Health hold?
Our clinical team consists of licensed therapists, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatrists, and other credentialed mental health professionals. In addition to meeting the licensure requirements established by the state of Florida, each of the clinical staff has specialized training in evidence-based mental health and substance abuse treatment interventions.
Will I work with the same therapist throughout my treatment?
Yes. We prioritize continuity of care. You will work with the same treatment team from the point of admission and as you begin your behavioral therapy. They’ll monitor your progress and adjust treatment based on progress.
Does the team have experience treating trauma?
Yes. Several of our clinical team members have specialized training in trauma-focused interventions such as EMDR, art therapy, and trauma-informed care approaches. Trauma-sensitive practices are integrated into the way our entire team provides care, not merely confined to individual therapy sessions.
How does the team approach personalized care?
Before developing a treatment plan for each new client, our clinical team conducts a thorough assessment. Afterward, a personalized treatment plan is developed to address each person’s unique diagnosis, history, and goals. Your treatment team meets on a regular basis to review your progress and make any necessary adjustments.
Are family members able to communicate with the treatment team?
With the consent of the client, our team actively encourages family involvement as part of the recovery process. We also have a dedicated family support program, and our clinical staff is available to communicate with loved ones in a manner that supports, rather than interferes with, the person’s treatment.
